Single-family house with a concrete shear wall in a glazed facade
A house with large glazing, where a concrete deep beam works instead of a column in the window, and plans rotated against north had to be brought to one grid.

Challenge
The architect wanted glazing without intermediate supports; base files arrived rotated and in different coordinate systems; the living-room floor without downstand beams.
Solution
A concrete deep beam in the gable wall axis carries the floor across the full glazing width. Base files brought to one system, axes named from the result rather than from the architect’s drawing. Construction set in a graphic standard identical to large developments.
